1- Polish Bishop Ryszard Kasyna said you were defrocked for ignoring his vow of celibacy despite a previous warning. What could you tell us on that?
Bishop has written to me that my declaration of 3rd October was a doctrinal mistake against Holy Scripture and Magisterium. So I asked him to explain me where was my mistake, because my declaration was a coming out, which means that I have said to my Church: I’m gay and I’m not sorry for that natural sexual orientation.
The celibacy is the secondary question concerning a sexual orientation, because I’m sure that for living a healthy celibacy one must accept first his sexual orientation, which is impossible in the Church for homosexual people who are seen as sick and abnormal.
2- There are some signals pope suffered pressure from conservative wing of Church, moved by some scandals, involving including your name. How do you see that?
I think this idea was produced in Vatican, but it doesn’t concern me. Of course, people from Congregation of the doctrine of the faith leaded by the prefect card. Müller fight very effectively against Pope Francis. For me it was clear that the synod was effectively closed before its opening. The discussion was over. It means that the conservative wing of Church had eliminated discussion just before Synod started. I didn’t wait anymore with my coming out declaration because I had seen sabotage done by Müller and others like him before Synod started. We can say that we don’t have a “conservative wing” of the Church, but in the Congregation we must say that we have an “ignorant wing” of the Church, which shows scientific ignorance in themes about which it defends positions of “cold doctrinalism” and legalism, without any confrontation with sciences and modern theological research.
3- What kind of advances do you expect from this Synod in general terms and more specifically on homosexuality topic, please?
I think that I’ve answered to this question above. I have no hope and expectations for this Synod. When in a ecclesial catholic synod one cardinal is allowed to say, like card. Sarah did, that gays are like nazis, and all other bishops remain in silence behind this criminal language, I think it’s better to close this deplorable meeting.
