Father Krzysztof Olaf Charamsa
Vatican sacks Polish priest Krzysztof Charamsa after he comes out as gay.
Polish priest Monsignor Krzysztof Charamsa was removed from a senior office in the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith after calling a press conference to announce that he was gay, living in a same-sex relationship, and had written a 'manifesto of gay liberation' for the church.
He's currently in Barcelona with his partner but hopes the Vatican will change its theology on homosexuality and clerical celibacy.
